We went to the The Museum of the Occupation of Latvia.
Where we learned more about Latvia and its people under
two occupying totalitarian regimes from 1940 to 1991.

This a life-size model of a barrack in the gulag that shows the cramped
conditions under which Latvians deported by Stalin froze and starved to death.
